January 12 - Fun Firsts

Today Evan went to his first high school basketball games. I say games because he lasted through two of them. He had so much fun playing with his cars and rolling them off the edges of the bleachers. He had plenty of entertainment in the form of cousins to keep him occupied. He also had his first real encounter with a dog since he became really mobile. My aunt has a huge black lab, Tuck, who Evan took to very quickly. He couldn't stop watching Tuck and wanted to be right there with him. Evan poked and patted him, and Tuck took it all like a champ. Fortunately Evan was able to avoid being whacked by "the tail," but loved watching it.
