This is what a really tired boy does with his empty bowl at lunch time. He did this for about five minutes. He'd work really hard to put it in the right place and then slowly move his hands away to see if it was going to stay in place. He was very focused on getting it right. He was definitely pretty proud of himself as evidenced by the next picture.

We had a fun and busy day today. Evan and I went to Music Makers for the first time. He's still a little young to grasp exactly what is going on and be really interested in the motions, but he did love the music and dancing. And, he loved watching and following the bigger kids (like two- and three-year-olds) around. Then we went for a walk to feed the ducks. By the time we got home he was already ready for a nap. We ate lunch and then had a little giggle party. He spent much of the afternoon walking around with my chapstick hanging out of his mouth. He must be teething because for the past few days, everything has gone directly into his mouth. Then Evan got to hang out with Grandma L. while Greg and I went out.
