August 19 - Blocks

We love to play with blocks and are working on more stacks and less messes. Evan likes to stack them but gets bored after just a few, so I start and then he will add on. That seems to keep his attention longer than just trying to get him to stack them on his own. And, we practice colors, which he's doing a good job of learning. He can say many of them (orange and purple are my favorites, although blue with the sticking out lips is pretty cute, too), it's just the recognition (outside of his books) we are working on now.
